If you have not hopped on the Schitt’s Creek bandwagon, stop reading and go binge all 6 seasons. I promise it’s some of the best advice I will ever give!

I was late to this party…I heard about the show, that it was filmed in Canada but I really didn’t know many of the actors. It was about a rich family, losing everything and having to move to this small town called Schitt’s Creek. That’s all I knew.
What I didn’t know, and quickly learned…is that this show is pure genius.
I completely binged the show in maybe 2 weeks? I sacrificed sleep and my sanity and it was worth it. So when I heard this behind-the-scenes book was coming I knew I would HAVE to read it. My desire to read it got lost in the shuffle of the holidays, but then at the end of December I walked into my library and IT WAS THERE!
If you are a fan of the show, read this.
If you are not a fan of the show, read this and you will become a fan.
The book takes you not only behind the scenes of putting the series together but goes in-depth in each of the characters and each episode. This series always had an endpoint and I think that’s what made it so good. They didn’t drag it out until storylines became dull and no one longer cared. They left at the peak and while most people won’t understand that, I think reading this book helped me answer that question: WHY WOULD YOU END THIS AMAZING SHOW!??!?
There are full-on cast and scene photos, great quotes and an inside scoop on little details you would not even notice but it made the show so unique. I have rewatched the series twice since. It’s a comfort watch for me and a complete escape from life. There is no way you can possibly be in a bad mood and not laugh through every episode. The book simply brings that of all that TV magic to life- right on the page.
